In the Garden

I’ve found that gardening is really a journey of discovery and every time you think you have something figured out or that you really know what you’re doing, you learn something entirely new that changes everything. The more I learn the less I think I know. I have learned a few things over the years however that might help you in your attempts at growing your own food. Follow along and be willing to get your hands dirty. Then you too can experience the pure joy that is eating things that YOU grew and knowing where it came from and what was put on it (or in this case NOT put on it) on its journey to your plate…. or mouth,( if you’re just snacking in the garden, or your toddler is…..) .

Plant Care and Maintenance

Plant care and maintenance is the backbone of a thriving garden, encompassing a range of essential tasks that ensure the health and vitality of your plants. It involves providing the right growing conditions, including proper soil preparation, adequate sunlight, and appropriate watering techniques. Regular pruning, deadheading, and pest control are also key components of plant care, helping to maintain plant shape and prevent diseases. Fertilization and soil amendment play a crucial role in supplying essential nutrients to plants, promoting robust growth and vibrant blooms.
